Our yoga instructor is Imelda Yasbek Baires (500 E-RYT)
Imelda lives in San Salvador and is at Las Flores Resort upon request basis only.
Cost is $75.00 per person per 60min session.
Teacher BIO
I have been practicing Yoga for over 9 years now and it has become my passion. I have observed that every yoga session ends with a sense of satisfaction and happiness. This motivated me to share the feeling of physical and emotional well-being with others. For the past 7 years, I have been travelling to the Capital of Yoga, Rishikesh in India, to get certified as a teacher. I am trained under the guidance of Swami Sudhir, who is a respected teacher in Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Ashtanga, physiotherapy, Pranayama, meditation, philosophy, anatomy, and Kriya.
My classes are mainly Vinyasa and Ahstanga Vinyasa full of challenging energy and always with a funny twist. Yoga has taught me that my body can feel and do incredible things. Yoga helped me regain my childhood confidence in achieving anything by trying. Through yoga, I have discovered new things about myself by playing and exploring.
I am a passionate yoga teacher who enjoys learning from different teachers and attending workshops. My approach to teaching involves fostering positive energy in each class, exploring the limits of the body by connecting it with the mind and creating a relaxing experience through breath control and balance. I teach various yoga styles, including basic classes, therapeutic yoga, physical therapy, yoga for kids, yoga Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Iyengar Method, Hatha Yoga, acroyoga, Taichi, and Qi Gong. I speak and give classes in 100% English if required.
